Following the success of "Dracula", Universal Pictures decided to release more horror movies.  Later that same year it released "Frankenstein", the story of a scientist who gave life to a being he made out of human body parts, only to have his creation come back to haunt him.  The movie was also very successful, and has likewise spawned numerous spinoffs, sequels and reboots.
