Yet another Soviet family of tanks built in huge numbers between the wars, the BT would see combat in the Spanish Civil War, the Mongolian campaign, the Winter War against Finland, and of course, World War II.  Suffering enormous losses during the 1941 German invasion, the BT served as the forerunner of one of the greatest tanks of all time, the T-34.
